If they are filing a criminal charge they’ll just issue a warrant for arrest

A search warrant only outlines a specific place and item that is to be searched

IE your guns

But a search warrant Hass to have some grounds for it to be filed

Whereas someone can show up or call in a red flag

And they themselves would be acting as the probable cause instead of evidence

But someone calling in the red flag/ERPO is the probable cause to issue a warrant. I beleive it might still need to go infront of a judge. Just without your notice, like what happens with search warrants
