I was in the Marines for a while and it's very similar to the M16A4 I qualified and trained with in recruit training. I also dig the 20" barrel but that's why I feel like it'll really perform if I need it.

Hey dude I'm not judging at all. Honestly even Mosins are adaquate war rifles. You can be extremely proficient with them even if they don't compare to modernized firearms for mags/rate of fire.

Also low key partial reason for my choice of rifle is slapping a bayonet on that bitch.

I don't think it's too impractical in some instances. Home defense being one of them. Many police videos show that people can be shot a bunch of times and still rush you, I've watched a few where they even grab/wrench the weapon out of the person's hands. So you make people kebab.
