Not really man. The way the Army works is they send you where they need you. You fill out a "wishlist" in basic training and AIT for where you'd LIKE to go but idk if it really does anything

@One Shot Paddy if you want UAV operator the army is the only branch letting enlisted fly them, and you can kinda control posts based off The MOS you choose, like 88L&88K is only at three posts, two are in spitting distance of one another in VA the other is Pearl Harbor, or better yet go option 40 or airborne out of basic and you’re more likely to get a poster boy unit if that’s your bag, but you have to have airborne/ranger school in the contract, which is very doable and don’t let them tell you otherwise
