and their keys taken
the same would happen if government took over bitcoin, and it would happen immediately
and no one in the network find out
@NativeInterface cant take it over..
If non-approved crypto were illegal I expect the value would plummet and no one would care about those keys
they can try to change the code or fork the code to govt code. no one will run it though.
We'e already seen new blockchains started
The gov't could start from scratch
well they could point guns at bitcoin core programmers and force them to implement taxation functions or something
but then the coin would lose all value and people would use bitcoin cash instead
@DrYuriMom well india banned them
so you cant buy crypto there unless you do it on the black market
@NativeInterface it dont work like that
Exactly what i have noted too
if they point guns at developers
and the miners see a new codebase
guess what we do?
dont update
we read the code.. say SCAM
and no one uses it
literally.
So you can kill a currency that easily?!?
@NativeInterface there are dif kinds of crypto
@DrYuriMom also dif kinds of crypto...
proof of work
delegated proof of stake
proof of stake
and hybrid mixes
none of them are the same.
you can hack passwords really easily too, you just beat someone with a shovel until they say their password
crypto is less a currency than a product
PoW is harder to control or upgrade , bitcoin example.. DPOS is fast and has voting structure unlike bitcoin
i cant vote your miner in bitcoin
but i can vote for your witness in DPOS or Steem etc..
i wouldnt say forcing developers to do things they are morally against is "easy" though, i have a feeling some of them would take the bullet
POS is what ETH is.. pretty useless, slow..
that's why i call eth a POS
@NativeInterface you can attack the network, DPOS can be attacked
netuoso look him up
he attacked steem and stopped the entire blockchain
the dpos systems work in a way if invalid transaction is in a block, it will shut it tf down
