at this point every time I see someone called white supremacist, white nationalist, racist and alt right I just assume that they are just not full blown communists

only activists are allowed to edit those pages, if they didn't do this set up, likes of ADL and SPLC would probably list Wikipedia founders as some sort of Nazi collaborators

I think what doesn't help is that the internet is really the worst places to have debates. Talking to someone so far away really allows one's emotions to take over and it turns into a metaphorical shoutfest because there is so little consequences for throwing a literal fit. You can be the worst person to somebody online and have the benefit of feeling little guilt due to the disconnection.
