we have the professor

2018-12-29 07:24:12 UTC

the capitalists or right wingers love to hate the professors

2018-12-29 07:24:17 UTC

they do tend to be left wing

2018-12-29 07:24:40 UTC

however even so, they all tend to say how communism "in theory is good but in action/reality is and has proven to be bad"

2018-12-29 07:24:50 UTC

literally then we get to the meat of the issue

2018-12-29 07:25:21 UTC

this is when we get to the "Steven Crowder argues against Communism ever being okay on paper and that it is also bad in practice not because of corruption but because it just doesn't work"

2018-12-29 07:25:37 UTC

and I would argue that literally no

2018-12-29 07:25:52 UTC

the reason it never worked is because the people who claimed to be communist were not communist, they were fascist

2018-12-29 07:26:11 UTC

If you play your cards right you can still wind up doing a job you love in a capitalist economy, individual naivety and gullibility can't be blamed on free trade.

2018-12-29 07:26:21 UTC

yet the capitalists even if they are brilliant otherwise are far too eager to say "of course those who claim to be communist were communist"

2018-12-29 07:26:34 UTC

but they'll pick apart anything else to the most extreme degree

2018-12-29 07:26:45 UTC

I mean they're not wrong

2018-12-29 07:26:55 UTC

It's not just right wingers saying that

2018-12-29 07:27:01 UTC

i agree

2018-12-29 07:27:40 UTC

Even evolutionary psychologists, economists, and anthropologists have concluded that Marxism is a failure

2018-12-29 07:27:51 UTC

i disagree with that

2018-12-29 07:27:55 UTC

at least

2018-12-29 07:28:01 UTC

i disagree that they have any say as fact

2018-12-29 07:28:06 UTC

i'd like to see their points

2018-12-29 07:28:16 UTC

furthermore

2018-12-29 07:28:26 UTC

i'm sure they only reference the USSR and other places like China

2018-12-29 07:28:41 UTC

which I said are not loyal to the ideal of Marxist communism

2018-12-29 07:28:48 UTC

first of all Marx said it had to follow Capitalism

2018-12-29 07:28:55 UTC

neither of those countries first had capitalism

2018-12-29 07:29:03 UTC

it's all bullshit

2018-12-29 07:29:13 UTC

Bret Weinstein talked a bit about it on Joe Rogan

2018-12-29 07:29:20 UTC

oh?

2018-12-29 07:29:41 UTC

He said Marxism gets Human Nature itself wrong

2018-12-29 07:29:52 UTC

i see

2018-12-29 07:30:50 UTC

It's supposed to be "To everyone according to their need and from everyone according to their ability"
But in reality, it becomes "Take as much you can and make the state pay."

2018-12-29 07:31:14 UTC

it doesn't equate which is part of your point

2018-12-29 07:31:20 UTC

but i don't think that is what was intended

2018-12-29 07:31:27 UTC

the reason it doesn't align is because of something else

2018-12-29 07:31:36 UTC

corruption i suppose

2018-12-29 07:31:40 UTC

if not of the rich, then of the poor

2018-12-29 07:32:48 UTC

btw let me re-state that i'm not a communist, i'm just tired of so many seemingly misinterpreting it

2018-12-29 07:32:59 UTC

i'm just left leaning libertarian

2018-12-29 07:33:07 UTC

it's not my philosophy

2018-12-29 07:33:09 UTC

Well that's another thing to consider.
In capitalism, if a boss is corrupt, his employees suffer. If the government is corrupt, even then the citizens are capable of managing heir own free market.
In socialism, if the the state is corrupt, everyone is fucked.

2018-12-29 07:33:43 UTC

no, i think if either is corrupt, everyone is fucked

2018-12-29 07:33:47 UTC

there are degrees to either
