then
we have the professor
the capitalists or right wingers love to hate the professors
they do tend to be left wing
however even so, they all tend to say how communism "in theory is good but in action/reality is and has proven to be bad"
literally then we get to the meat of the issue
this is when we get to the "Steven Crowder argues against Communism ever being okay on paper and that it is also bad in practice not because of corruption but because it just doesn't work"
and I would argue that literally no
the reason it never worked is because the people who claimed to be communist were not communist, they were fascist
If you play your cards right you can still wind up doing a job you love in a capitalist economy, individual naivety and gullibility can't be blamed on free trade.
yet the capitalists even if they are brilliant otherwise are far too eager to say "of course those who claim to be communist were communist"
but they'll pick apart anything else to the most extreme degree
I mean they're not wrong
It's not just right wingers saying that
i agree
Even evolutionary psychologists, economists, and anthropologists have concluded that Marxism is a failure
i disagree with that
at least
i disagree that they have any say as fact
i'd like to see their points
i'm sure they only reference the USSR and other places like China
which I said are not loyal to the ideal of Marxist communism
first of all Marx said it had to follow Capitalism
neither of those countries first had capitalism
it's all bullshit
Bret Weinstein talked a bit about it on Joe Rogan
oh?
He said Marxism gets Human Nature itself wrong
i see
It's supposed to be "To everyone according to their need and from everyone according to their ability"
But in reality, it becomes "Take as much you can and make the state pay."
it doesn't equate which is part of your point
but i don't think that is what was intended
the reason it doesn't align is because of something else
corruption i suppose
if not of the rich, then of the poor
btw let me re-state that i'm not a communist, i'm just tired of so many seemingly misinterpreting it
i'm just left leaning libertarian
it's not my philosophy
Well that's another thing to consider.
In capitalism, if a boss is corrupt, his employees suffer. If the government is corrupt, even then the citizens are capable of managing heir own free market.
In socialism, if the the state is corrupt, everyone is fucked.
no, i think if either is corrupt, everyone is fucked
