it's basically a "stock exchange for sjws"

2018-12-31 22:00:13 UTC

Why would i want to trade in SJWs?

2018-12-31 22:00:21 UTC

like, you add tweets to the system and then the visitors vote on which tweet is the most retarded.

2018-12-31 22:00:33 UTC

and that affects the value

2018-12-31 22:00:37 UTC

of the sjw

2018-12-31 22:00:49 UTC

HS and younger don't return back to school until next Tuesday. College students go back on the 22nd, where I'm from

2018-12-31 22:01:06 UTC

22nd... sounds horrid

2018-12-31 22:02:00 UTC

it's the day after MLK day

2018-12-31 22:02:43 UTC

Heh... Imagining being in Charlottesville on MLK day

2018-12-31 22:02:47 UTC

oh shit. I only have 3 weeks to re-teach myself pre-calc *fuck*

2018-12-31 22:03:12 UTC

read that as "reattach myself"

2018-12-31 22:03:14 UTC

i got worried

2018-12-31 22:03:29 UTC

better?

2018-12-31 22:03:36 UTC

sorry about that 😅

2018-12-31 22:03:58 UTC

Just reattach the pre-calc module and donesies

2018-12-31 22:04:34 UTC

if only it that easy 😂

2018-12-31 22:04:36 UTC

One day, Nine, One day.

2018-12-31 22:05:36 UTC

Does pre-calc include trig for ya? In general, it's the most disjointed math class, but nothing in particular is that hard

2018-12-31 22:07:23 UTC

it does include trig

2018-12-31 22:07:30 UTC

sadly

2018-12-31 22:08:31 UTC

Fourier series! Better than Taylor series! (at least in the sense you have more freedom in choosing the interval in which the approximation applies)

2018-12-31 22:09:37 UTC

the math is easy once I understand how to do it. (started my first pre-calc class with an F then finished the semester with A-.) *but it takes so dam long to learn*

2018-12-31 22:09:45 UTC

hey! fourier as in FFT??

2018-12-31 22:10:01 UTC

yup

2018-12-31 22:10:24 UTC

what do you use fourier for?

2018-12-31 22:11:43 UTC

Similar to Taylor series in that it can approximate any function as a sum of easy to integrate/differentiate functions

2018-12-31 22:12:27 UTC

. . . I just googled it. . . now I'm getting concerned because it looks super complicated

2018-12-31 22:12:49 UTC

Think of it as a processing shortcut

2018-12-31 22:12:59 UTC

Fourier transform is not precalc.

2018-12-31 22:13:47 UTC

but I will be taking Calculus and physics for engineering students, and the formula is similar to the problems in those classes

2018-12-31 22:14:01 UTC

Nope, but sometimes hints of why you're learning disjointed things helps motivate learning

2018-12-31 22:14:08 UTC

Down the road you'll take diff eq.

2018-12-31 22:15:34 UTC

differ equation?

2018-12-31 22:15:50 UTC

Differential equations.

2018-12-31 22:15:59 UTC

*oh* that

2018-12-31 22:16:17 UTC

see, I took pre-calc I my first semester in college

2018-12-31 22:16:48 UTC

now I'm taking pre-calc II in my 6th semester (starting next month)

2018-12-31 22:17:05 UTC

I hate it when i don't get the whole picture

2018-12-31 22:17:16 UTC

I understand i won't understand the whole picture from the get go

2018-12-31 22:17:21 UTC

but don't fucking mr miyagi me

2018-12-31 22:17:53 UTC

Like i remember asking a question in an early math class
