yeah, literally no sense of self reflection

2019-01-05 22:26:25 UTC

shit's pathetic

2019-01-05 22:26:28 UTC

yeah VR will definitely be worked on in a while

2019-01-05 22:26:29 UTC

they take pride in degeneracy

2019-01-05 22:26:34 UTC

not these gimmicky walled gardens but working on a open one

2019-01-05 22:26:36 UTC

look how they brag about how many mental illnesses they have

2019-01-05 22:26:39 UTC

"CAN WE COPYSTRIKE PEWDIEPIE"

2019-01-05 22:26:53 UTC

or how often they slept with chads from "around"

2019-01-05 22:27:01 UTC

Hey just dont start sounding like virgins and we'll be aight

2019-01-05 22:27:05 UTC

lmao slut shaming

2019-01-05 22:27:06 UTC

The reason that so many games on VR are shit is because it's experimental and a lot of people making them are just indie devs

2019-01-05 22:27:15 UTC

with small teams

2019-01-05 22:27:17 UTC

yeah theres no big money in making content for it yet

2019-01-05 22:27:37 UTC

The best VR games are old games converted to VR

2019-01-05 22:27:46 UTC

Skyrim, Borderlands 2

2019-01-05 22:27:51 UTC

and i think it has to do with the slow adoption of it, people are very uncertain of taking the leap into vr because of the skepticism

2019-01-05 22:27:56 UTC

SuperHot

2019-01-05 22:28:00 UTC

Gorn

2019-01-05 22:28:01 UTC

big companies aren't hitting it right now because the sweet spot isn't there yet and not many people have VR

2019-01-05 22:28:04 UTC

it's price. VR IS TOO EXPENSIVE

2019-01-05 22:28:07 UTC

hard to invest..

2019-01-05 22:28:12 UTC

people won't bother

2019-01-05 22:28:19 UTC

it will get cheaper, and thus more content

2019-01-05 22:28:19 UTC

I mean, it's not too pricey

2019-01-05 22:28:21 UTC

@EndangeredProdigy that was the problem with motion controls though. They weren't games that had motion contols, they were motion controls with a layer of a game like display on it. The wii had mountain of shovelware shit because devs were making the concept of motion controls rather then games

2019-01-05 22:28:23 UTC

yes it is

2019-01-05 22:28:28 UTC

Playstation VR has dropped its price

2019-01-05 22:28:33 UTC

it's the same price as a decent pc

2019-01-05 22:28:35 UTC

yeah the price is getting there too

2019-01-05 22:28:45 UTC

I think it's more fear than skepticism. You have AAA developers literally admitting "We try to avoid working on a new IP if we can help it"

2019-01-05 22:28:46 UTC

personally I find VR too early in technology to truly enjoy

2019-01-05 22:28:47 UTC

remember when Oculus told us it would be $250 for their vr and all goodies too?

2019-01-05 22:28:56 UTC

yeah right lmao. ok

2019-01-05 22:29:00 UTC

Wait like 3-5 years and it'll be much better

2019-01-05 22:29:06 UTC

**hopefully**

2019-01-05 22:29:06 UTC

ofc, i am excited

2019-01-05 22:29:09 UTC

I got a good deal on my VR and enjoy it personally

2019-01-05 22:29:10 UTC

the main issues I see right now are the fucking wires and the screen door effect you get

2019-01-05 22:29:10 UTC

Depends on what people do with it.

2019-01-05 22:29:13 UTC

so what we don't need are vr experiences that are also games, we need games first that include some vr experiences

2019-01-05 22:29:18 UTC

People said the same thing in the 90s and it went nowhere
