but yeah...there was Scion iA (sedan) and Toyota Yaris (hatchback) through 2016, after which Toyota rebranded all Scions as Toyotas. Then for 2017 and 2018 there was still Toyota Yaris (hatchback) and the Scion was rebranded Toyota Yaris iA (sedan). Now in 2019 they removed iA from the sedan's name so it's just Yaris, and there's no Yaris hatchback anymore
