I guess I feel about Contra a softer version of what I feel about hbomberman

i think if contra cut her videos into serious and more edgy ones it would help a lot

I do respect contra more than hbomberguy I'll give you that

the few i have watched it felt like the sarcasm was overwriting the message of each point made

people put tremendous effort into thinking out their positions on some things... but completely miss crucial details of their core world view

which were very well researched, to contra's credit

sargon actually evolves his political philosophy

and integrates criticism

I know a few unironic communists in my private life

they're perfectly fine until exposed to anything where the market isn't absolutely hitting a home run right this moment

at which point they toss out all reason

and go straight toward full state control of 100% of aspects of human life

to maximize correctness™ of outcome

unironic communists tend to be pretty good people to be around so long as you don't broach that kinda topic

also provided they're not tankies

basically so long as you don't know they're a communist by talking to them then it's ok
