Then it spiked to 50k then...boom 160k the next week
*it's not a competition for who's been supporting who the longest guys*
Tim was under 100k in subs when I found him
Im not saying that.. Im just saying how they grew fast for some reason
I found him over the free speech protests in Berkeley in April of 2017
I am glad I could be part of Timcast community regardless of the time I joined. He is a great reporter and fair person.
That is what drawn me in.
*They grow fast cause people like their opinions*
same with bearing and sugartits, got a ton of subs in my list to the point it's hard to remember them all.. and the number of people I was subbed that youtube deplatformed is scary
have you guys seen that Shaun faggot, and that Three arrows guy
A lot of it is getting lucky to get in YouTube's sweet spot of algorithm to get shared in suggested side videos
blaire white is like 👏
I got there once and got 101 subs in a day right around then, but I only got there with one video
Also some people stop making videos
Probably busy
Some ppl do quit for reasons
Life, couldn't manage due to poor subscriptions, going back to college, work...etc
We're seeing plenty of Youtubers put less effort in to their videos
Yeah, I've had to slow down before. Some people don't seem to care much about their channel. They go a month without making content then make a few vids then disappear for a month.
Like how Geeks and Gamers addressed the shill star wars channels
I watch tim because he is a radical leftist that isn't completely insane.
only partly
Yeah, Youtube's starting be more of a platform people are trying to get away from
I watch Tim a lot, but I watch tons of people. It depends on what the topics are, usually.
because youtube doesn't even function properly anymore
Almost every channel I watch is doing third party services and having ads in their videos
It's more than that, but yes, that's a reason.
i mean just their search feature, doesn't funciton properly. As a platform for indidivuals to post content it hasn't functioned properly for a while now
People that thought they would do politics on YouTube to make money are stepping away. Politics and news on the right isn't a way to make money usually
Honestly the one thing i notice about YT besides Pew is that its not as entertaining as it used to be
Uh oh, buzzfeed used another reporter's name without their permission.
@Order of Serila It really isn't dude.
that's because youtube is like mtv in the late 90's.
It isn't just in right wing circles either. Almost everyone I know is saying the same thing
becoming irrelevant and lost sight of what made it popular
Everything has been done and people are burnt out on it.
