When states turn into echochambers of singular thought as people on both sides of the divide move away from the ones on the other side and with their own. When half of the states are almost entirely one political party and the other states the other side. Like how california is pure democrat as it's republicans flee

For the most part though I keep hearing about people not moving based on ideology, but because the prices in certain areas are to much.

so when we have coastal areas that are predomoniantly democrat while the midlands are mostly republican that is an issue
