1) More right wing media, good networks.
2) Less focus on tribalism as the problem, better to first formulate the ideal situation, and then work toward formulating actual issues, devoid of gossip
I'd say the obsession with Donald trump both the left and right have is 90% gossip
@Abel do you really think it will be achieved by peaceful means though?
Yes, I think it canbe achieved by peaceful means.
But violence is more probable realistically
From what I'm seeing it looks as though a civil war is being orchestrated on purpose.
Well it probably is.
Seems like the ideal way to weaken a nation
The British did it pretty well when they colonised India
Realistically when people aren't willing to sit down and have an open discussion about problems, then yeah violence does tend to ensue.
I just don't see humans getting passed certain things with their being those willing to destroy true progress.

poor Paul
the ironic thing is that most good ppl dont become politically involved
You know how it is. They say "I'm to busy, I have other things to do and I just don't understand politics."

@triplefife a big sign of an incoming civil war is the polarization of people physically. When states turn into echochambers of singular thought as people on both sides of the divide move away from the ones on the other side and with their own. When half of the states are almost entirely one political party and the other states the other side. Like how california is pure democrat as it's republicans flee
"Physically?"
Isn't this more of a mental divide?
Mental divides lead to physical divide
It's the reason NYC is nearly a third world country
White flight etc
when people change from disagreeing online to segregating their communities into a idealogical purity chamber
Yeah I know a guy who moved to my state from NY.
Yeah I live in it
think of how the country split just prior to the civil war
north vs south
@Misomania okay now I get what your saying. Your saying its a sign of a civil war because of people moving states.
Wasn't quite getting it there at first.
For the most part though I keep hearing about people not moving based on ideology, but because the prices in certain areas are to much.
so when we have coastal areas that are predomoniantly democrat while the midlands are mostly republican that is an issue
Still it could be a indicator of a soon to be civil war.
along with a few in the center like illinois and others
