I'm still proposing Nokia

2019-01-29 16:28:39 UTC

ye nokia is prolly most efficient

2019-01-29 16:29:14 UTC

No security breaches, because there is no data to get on it

2019-01-29 16:29:24 UTC

Battery life is like a week

2019-01-29 16:29:39 UTC

no one uses them, so no money to be had in trying to develop software to hack 😉

2019-01-29 16:30:24 UTC

Ok il try to remember nokia

2019-01-29 16:32:00 UTC

Apples and iPhones are at a real trouble rn.

2019-01-29 16:32:38 UTC

as we're entering the post iPhone era, as the smartphone market is in stagnation

2019-01-29 16:32:49 UTC

they really need to find an alternate income resource.

2019-01-29 16:33:50 UTC

But, why are apples in trouble?

2019-01-29 16:34:02 UTC

Appleâ„¢

2019-01-29 16:34:02 UTC

Fruit is still consumed in the post iPhone era, right?

2019-01-29 16:34:04 UTC

muh bad.

2019-01-29 16:42:55 UTC

Question: if a close friend is going to do something you are pretty sure will atleast partially ruin their life in the long run but they are committed to doing it, do you try to explain why they probably shouldnt or just respect their choice. Im awfully conflicted

2019-01-29 16:43:41 UTC

You should explain that they probably shouldn't do it, but also respect their intelligence and their freedom to make their own mistakes

2019-01-29 16:44:42 UTC

If you happen to be able to convince them to do otherwise, that's great. If you were wrong and it happens to go well, that's great too. If they go the complete wrong way and become insufferable, then the consequence might be that you have to do the selfish thing and drop them.

2019-01-29 16:44:50 UTC

This is a pretty big mistake tho

2019-01-29 16:45:22 UTC

Not impossible to come back from but

2019-01-29 16:45:55 UTC

They might be stuck in a situation where they are miserable

2019-01-29 16:46:43 UTC

Well, not every person is going to be successful in life if they decide to make the wrong choice. It sucks when it's a friend that it happens to, but that's just how the world is

2019-01-29 16:46:47 UTC

For decades

2019-01-29 16:47:06 UTC

If they're commited to doing it, nothing you say will change their mind

2019-01-29 16:47:07 UTC

You can't shield the person you care for from personal responsibility

2019-01-29 16:47:13 UTC

:/

2019-01-29 16:47:16 UTC

True

2019-01-29 16:47:26 UTC

You'll just have to wait and be available when they are vulnerable

2019-01-29 16:48:09 UTC

But that doesn't mean you can't support them, and try to help them, to the extent that you're capable of.

2019-01-29 16:48:43 UTC

Trying to proactively disapprove of the something they're doing simply reduces the possibility of them coming to you for help when tragedy strikes

2019-01-29 16:48:44 UTC

Im doing my best

2019-01-29 16:48:50 UTC

But

2019-01-29 16:50:25 UTC

All you can do is your best Maddie

2019-01-29 16:50:28 UTC

And that's all you need to do

2019-01-29 16:51:44 UTC

Its just hard
