But on second thought that kills everyone
The train meme as you put is a black and white fallacy that is to be applied to anything
lol sure
no you didn't
Okay
Feel free to scroll up
Maybe you think you did, but you didn't.
^
Then tell me how I didn't
Instead of making statements
tell you how you didn't do something?
can't prove a negative
Wow
You must know the negative
So what is it
You don't have any answer and you don't understand so you just deny I had one
Fuck
Well, I mean, I could explain 2 by saying Five, but that doesn't really explain anything...
I guess we hit the deadend
I am not being snarky I am saying obviously we're not moving forward on this so what else is going on
I'm still wondering what the goal of the train meme is.
That's between you two
It's a black and white fallacy however
There is always another option
If I turned the train to kill one I commit murder
If I left the train to kill 5 I am implicit
It's bullshit to convince you that evil is necessary somehow
Evil is retarded
But I'm not getting through to two nihilists
the train thing is not a fallacy it's an analogy for when there is a choice to make that leads only to bad outcomes and your ability to rationalize evil as the "lesser evil", which means that morality is relative to the situation and not bound to pure logic
I'm not sure I am a nihilist.
Why can't you stop the train
disproving the idea of real evil and real good
What's the bad outcome? What if my goal is to get to work on time?
Why can't you bring the people off the tracks
Can i make the train hit both people?
If i still make it on time, what does 6 ppl dying matter to that goal?
that's bargaining, and that doesn't solve anything. don't you understand the point of an allegory ?
So, again, what's the goal?
