I mean my university had a 41% acceptance rate (which is high IMO) but it was a heavy research school.

So if you were in a STEM field it was competitive.

i'm gonna agree with what the others have said, talk it out with your teacher/professor. Sometimes groups just don't work out for whatever reason. it happens. Either the teacher will understand or they will say tough luck deal with it.

In the class im talking about i am 1 of 3 white ppl and the only white girl in a class of 36 ish

one group had to pay their way to get here and they worked their ass off and was generally nice. the other? all expense paid by their government/parents.
