I am not looking for anyone to defend Socialism, I am just wondering what you guys opinions on the fact we just dodged a bullet that probably would see billions of people die from starvation.

Yeah, I am butt hurt about socialism (or rather post Marxist attitudes just in general) but because I've actually been bitten by them

I don't mind the government intervening to insure minimum welfare and safety of the citizens

Socialism keeps pilling up bodies... yet people still advocate it.

Most countries people in the US think are socialist are actually based off free market and have no minimum wage
