2019-02-03 20:29:34 UTC

2019-02-03 20:30:05 UTC

2019-02-03 20:31:14 UTC

yes, but my point is not as aggressive as it sounds. i just didnt know how else to word it shortly

2019-02-03 20:31:35 UTC

oh, okay

2019-02-03 20:32:27 UTC

I want a subie that drifts and braps and I can vape in

2019-02-03 20:32:59 UTC

and a small comfy cabin in the woods and a sturdy offroader to get there

2019-02-03 20:33:16 UTC

something like an older toyota 4runner should be alright

2019-02-03 20:33:47 UTC

well you got to get some money first

2019-02-03 20:33:52 UTC

you've*

2019-02-03 20:34:03 UTC

yep

2019-02-03 20:34:10 UTC

good thing I don't need a lot for this

2019-02-03 20:34:30 UTC

i want to develop an immortal cell that can easily transferred to humans so i don

2019-02-03 20:34:34 UTC

t have to deal with dying

2019-02-03 20:35:35 UTC

I wouldn't mind being made into a cyborg

2019-02-03 20:40:11 UTC

an inmortal cell that can easily transferred to humans?

2019-02-03 20:40:14 UTC

Thats literally cancer

2019-02-03 20:40:22 UTC

Don't think about it

2019-02-03 20:40:28 UTC

And it will make sense

2019-02-03 20:46:55 UTC

so basically the reasons cells start to decay is because they have a gene that gets "Worn out." The gene, which we currently can synthetically make, ensures the cells regenerate at a rate that is beneficial to the body, meaning any damaged cells are replaced properly. Let me see if I can remember the name of the gene

2019-02-03 20:47:08 UTC

its here in my textbook somewhere

2019-02-03 20:47:18 UTC

telomeres

2019-02-03 20:48:42 UTC

AAV-IGF-I

2019-02-03 20:49:02 UTC

AAV is the virus they use to get the gene into the nucleus, and IGF-I is the actual thing

2019-02-03 20:50:04 UTC

are you a doctor?

2019-02-03 20:50:08 UTC

no

2019-02-03 20:50:09 UTC

or planning on studying it?

2019-02-03 20:50:18 UTC

i want to be a biomedical engineer

2019-02-03 20:50:28 UTC

with a double major in journalism

2019-02-03 20:50:44 UTC

Huh thats a weird career pair

2019-02-03 20:50:50 UTC

yeah wow

2019-02-03 20:50:56 UTC

why journalism?

2019-02-03 20:51:24 UTC

I mean, doubt you'll be able to do anything else when you go into medical school

2019-02-03 20:51:25 UTC

research/ innovation careers have a lot of potential for journalism coverage

2019-02-03 20:52:20 UTC

researchers have their own world when it comes to publishing their results

2019-02-03 20:52:37 UTC

the stuff we get from media with all the buzzwords is just sensationalism

2019-02-03 20:53:35 UTC

lol.. watching this film where this supposedly know-it-all interpol agent woman goes into a gun store in the US and says what if I want something bigger.. like an AR-15 ... like.. those are legal in the UK... theyre not bigger 😛

2019-02-03 20:53:56 UTC

rip

2019-02-03 20:54:42 UTC

Huh cool you pretty much want to do the same thing as me, minus the whole journalism thing

2019-02-03 20:54:53 UTC

basically the reasoning for my double major choice is that i have literally nothing else to do with my time and i cant exactly live two lives at the same time
