Hmm.... in all honesty, I just focused on paying the bills and making sure we had a roof over our head.

I didn't have time to just pick and choose.

I mean office jobs are everywhere

and tech is HUGE

Office workers need to talk

Now my SSI is up and running, I don't have to worry about money much either. Plus inheritance.

I can actually focus on my life now.

there are positions that you can be in where you never have to do anything outside of emails and IM

I am hard of hearing and tone deaf. With my injury, I can't stand or sit for more than two hours without a full blown migraine that makes me throw up.

I am forced to take breaks every two hours.

like ones that move up and down if you want to sit or stand

It is extremely debilitating to be honest

What can you do about your injury

Every manager or boss I had said I am a major liability, but that just pushed me harder to prove them wrong.

Not much... my injury is located near a lot of important nerves.

I tried that, I don't got the experience to do work from home.

When it comes to coding and shit, can't do.

I would love to learn it, but the only place that was teaching it basically dropped the courses cause no one else but me was taking it.

@Dusty Morgan only thing I'd say is to find something to keep yourself busy, at least mentally. Being idle is like torture for myself. Was bed ridden from a severe back injury and being idle was worse then the black out level pain for me

I only got 1 semester done and they dropped it under me.

Liberty University offers good online classes for tech

Well I clean the house my own pace, I cook at my own pace, and I pay the bills at my own pace.

I keep myself busy.

During my downtime from doing random shit, I play dragonrealms.
