2019-02-08 20:05:04 UTC

2019-02-08 20:05:10 UTC

underneath his bald cap is another beanie

2019-02-08 20:05:19 UTC

That's gotta be sweaty

2019-02-08 20:05:28 UTC

no it's not

2019-02-08 20:05:31 UTC

he has an AC in there

2019-02-08 20:05:41 UTC

Tim is a CIA agent

2019-02-08 20:05:47 UTC

His name is not Tim Pool

2019-02-08 20:06:28 UTC

he is a russian agent

2019-02-08 20:06:41 UTC

his real name is timusuv poolsladvich

2019-02-08 20:06:45 UTC

@CasualSailor Well, last 15 years, but dang, I was wrong. Thought the US had been slower on that field. Then again, you guys burn fuel like crazy, so it's still damn high per capita CO2 emissions. Anyway, I stand corrected

2019-02-08 20:07:26 UTC

yes, but it's more efficient

2019-02-08 20:07:42 UTC

it's different if you produce more with what you burn

2019-02-08 20:08:03 UTC

the soviet union, for example, was using more electricity than the US

2019-02-08 20:08:08 UTC

in some parts

2019-02-08 20:08:15 UTC

and producing less for it

2019-02-08 20:08:20 UTC

In the last three decades the power grid has been rebuilding and refitting our burner plants with systems to reduce their emmissions of everything

2019-02-08 20:08:46 UTC

you can also generally breathe the air in US cities

2019-02-08 20:08:56 UTC

But the point about the world being fucked by India and China alone is absolutely valid

2019-02-08 20:08:56 UTC

not like in beijing at times

2019-02-08 20:09:02 UTC

at times?

2019-02-08 20:09:09 UTC

all the time nowadays

2019-02-08 20:09:12 UTC

yes, it's worse, depending on the wind

2019-02-08 20:09:32 UTC

I have been to plenty of US cities and never had a problem, I got an infection in my nasal track from visiting London

2019-02-08 20:09:51 UTC

yes, most US cities are fine

2019-02-08 20:10:10 UTC

what produces pollution is electing democrats who will fuck up your highways

2019-02-08 20:10:21 UTC

LA in the 80's and 90's was horrible afaik

2019-02-08 20:10:24 UTC

traffic congestion produces pollution needlessly

2019-02-08 20:10:28 UTC

you can look at seattle

2019-02-08 20:10:33 UTC

or la

2019-02-08 20:10:42 UTC

I love the "let's fuck up cars without giving people a viable alternative"

2019-02-08 20:10:50 UTC

they're big on that in Norway as well these days

2019-02-08 20:11:11 UTC

Yeah. or the Dems in Flint that fucked up the water and then the DNC blamed "Racist Republicans"

2019-02-08 20:11:52 UTC

Wasn't that a change to a water source that had higher acidity, which dissolved a lot of lead in the pipes?

2019-02-08 20:12:25 UTC

@Tinytim No problem. It's easy to hate on America. And its easy to envy our standard of living. But we've done a lot of good for the world including the billions living in free countries that would not be otherwise. Did you know when the tsunami hit Indonesia that the American people, not the gov't, but private donations raised over $1 billion for relief?

2019-02-08 20:12:39 UTC

Something like that, the entire city council that aprroved it was Dems, and mostly black and women

2019-02-08 20:13:11 UTC

Flint was a technocratic fuckup that didn't get fixed becuase politicians started arguing over it instead of fixing it

2019-02-08 20:13:12 UTC

Anyway. One of the best ways to protect the environment is to make efficient use of your resources.

The best way we have found to make the most efficient use of resources is through market mechanisms.

2019-02-08 20:13:31 UTC

Environmental protection is all about efficient use of resources.
