@Kelz looking into Corey Hughes himself. Trying to figure out what precinct he’s from. To put it bluntly, there plenty of officers who come out fine from the force or even SWAT. But there are certain micro-movements from Hughes that makes me want to look to his past. He’s instantly uneasy when he speaks on “quitting”. If I may, if you want to make a stronger case for why much of a precinct may be more susceptible to racism and brutality, look into the Chicago school style of sociology.
Boomers think we live in a post racial society. It’s so cute
@stedly Why the fuck are you doxing me?
@stedly That is something ppl never talk about, violence between Mexicans and Blacks. I heard a story from a Black mother who said her boy could not get a job at ANY restaurant because he wasn't Mexican. She said, he speaks Spanish but the Mexican's won't work with Blacks so the owners won't hire them.
Pretty much.
Sounds like some bullshit
Seen my own share of examples.
I have noticed that personally. Mexicans at my job don't like non-Mexicans. I'll just keep hiding the fact that I am one from them lol.
I am not sure how common or widespread it is, but I have come across that sort of situation in CA.
Mexican’s won’t work with black. Lol something tells me there’s a huge chunk of context missing
Even Mexicans seem to not know that there are white Mexicans
Don't like non-Mexicans?
Haven't see that.
They are usually cool with most people.
It's more of a, want to work with other Mexicans instead of anyone else thing
Yes, especially if they prefer speaking Spanish.
And with their particular dialect.
We should just call it Mexican, but people would say that's racist.
So who ranks lower on the oppression stack? The Blacks or the Mexicans?
@RekItRalph I don't normally quote the SPLC as authoritative. But here you go. https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/intelligence-report/2005/tensions-mounting-between-blacks-and-latinos-nationwide
Let me tell you, my Mexican professor for American history from 1877 on only focuses on Latin Immigrants. Every section has the majority of it taken up by the impact of illegal Latin American citizens.
If the SPLC admits that it's more likely to be true.
“Illegal citizens”
That is because it is counter to their usual bias.
Hispanic americans dont even like illegal mexicans
their is a reason why mexico is mexico.....its not the geography its the people
Failed culture makes a failed country
@Crimsom What did Harry Reid call them "Undocumented American Citizens."
Latina america, africa and asia aside from japan
all failed
On average, every ethnic group will have a bias to their own group.
Oof, think South Korea is alright.
@AmongstShadows To a certain extent....but we all know we are american and thus do cohabitate
@Crimsom What's funny is that Leftists and Progressives love to talk about Hispanics like they are homogeneous. But Cubans DO NOT like Mexicans and visa versa. And the same is true for other nationalities. Hispanics are for the most part more nationalist than Trump.
"Undocumented American Citizens" - I think I almost spat my coffee.
Nationality is another thing people look to for common ground
I dont understand how third worlders can leave their country of opression and want to turn this country into the same
@Undead Mockingbird That was a calculated ploy. All we need to do is give them documents and they are good to go.
Nationalist or ethno-centrist? That is one question.
As old teddy put it, any “hyphenated American” isn’t a real American. If you go to the voting booth voting as any thing other than pure American, your practically a traitor in teddy roosevelts eyes
