THEY HAVE THE HUGE FUCKING POTENTIAL TO BE PASSED ON AND YOU QUESTION WHY.

2019-02-13 10:31:48 UTC

Hereditary means they must be passed on, which is impossible. But the issue is infertility. The people wouldnt be able to mate in the first place. The damage would be done within the first generation.

2019-02-13 10:31:50 UTC

@Quix but not the mix of planned parent and feminism that has pushed reproduction to well below replacement levels while most of our industries poison us in ways that have reduced the average sperm count to less then 25% of what it was a century ago, with adults in their prime having less testosterone then a man over 100 years old as well, damaged dna in both sperm and eggs and ever escalating birth defects?

2019-02-13 10:32:12 UTC

@Skeptisk that's an insane statement. Of course not but Gene Editing is not a solution to that. Stopping to fuck everyone without a rubber is a beginning.

2019-02-13 10:32:46 UTC

but since some states already made the legality of infecting people with HIV less illegal, it doesn't help

2019-02-13 10:32:50 UTC

I was one of the kids that got wacky treatments for my shit, BUT NOT BEFORE IT WENT THROU PROPER FUCKING TESTING.

2019-02-13 10:33:20 UTC

It shows...

2019-02-13 10:33:28 UTC

God, watch that Video!

2019-02-13 10:33:34 UTC

your insanity shows

2019-02-13 10:33:59 UTC

I know he's kinda annoying but he wrote a book about the human race beeing destroyed by gene editing.

2019-02-13 10:34:04 UTC

Wanting to get rid of hereditary diseases = insane in Stefan's mind. Ok...

2019-02-13 10:34:08 UTC

Holy shit I had an amazing jerk

2019-02-13 10:34:15 UTC

2019-02-13 10:34:16 UTC

2019-02-13 10:34:21 UTC

2019-02-13 10:34:28 UTC

2019-02-13 10:34:45 UTC

Stefan, that's science fiction...

2019-02-13 10:34:55 UTC

No, its about Morals.

2019-02-13 10:34:59 UTC

@Stefan Payne *they will never learn about the consequences of their actions*

2019-02-13 10:35:00 UTC

and it shows what could happen.

2019-02-13 10:35:21 UTC

So, you draw your morality from television-shows.

2019-02-13 10:35:31 UTC

@Skeptisk What were first? The Electric doors we see in every store today or their presentation in Science Fiction??

2019-02-13 10:35:37 UTC

Yeah, and others draw it from the bible, not much difference.

2019-02-13 10:35:44 UTC

@Skeptisk no I draw it from the Bible

2019-02-13 10:35:51 UTC

No, but sometimes they show a possible future that might actually happen.

2019-02-13 10:36:03 UTC

And the conseqences are always mass-murder if not following the Great Leader.

2019-02-13 10:36:08 UTC

and that some things we do might have some unforseen consequences.

2019-02-13 10:36:23 UTC

for example you smoking has some consequences for you and also your children.

2019-02-13 10:36:43 UTC

Well, the Nazi's banned smoking due to cancer....

2019-02-13 10:36:49 UTC

2019-02-13 10:37:04 UTC

So??

2019-02-13 10:37:52 UTC

In some cases its better to test a potential technology for a couple of decades in a laboratory and controlled enviroment instead of in the open.

2019-02-13 10:37:57 UTC

and genocide everything

2019-02-13 10:38:04 UTC
