I just converted my youtube to m3u script into a flask application.
http://morp.pythonanywhere.com/ytpl/PL1C572B526934FD97

Just append the playlist's ID to the URL above and it will spew back the youtube playlist as an M3U.

If your player supports playing youtube URLs, you can use this directly to play a youtube playlist. Also, you can dump out YT playlists for any other purpose that way.

i don't use youtube often.

I really dislike their UI, but I don't dislike the content.

You can stream directly, or just the audio, with mplayer/mpv/IINA.

Oh, and VLC, with the right LUA plugin for YT.
