During the Kavanaugh hearings, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) admitted to being in possession of evidence that the nominee had committed violent sexual assault and yet she purposefully and intentionally hid that information from investigators and members of her own party. When asked she said, that it was her intention to prevent this evidence from every being made available to to ANYONE including prosecutors who might wish to examine it given that the statute of limitations had not run out on the alleged crime. Sen Feinstein face no consequences from her own party leadership, no ethics violation inquiry and no prosecution for concealing evidence of a crime from the police.
