Ahh right Torch the video explains it.

2018-11-13 07:41:35 UTC

how ya complaining about wanting them to define the condition as "body dysmorphic disorder" when they already done it 31 years ago

2018-11-13 07:41:38 UTC

Cheers man.

2018-11-13 07:41:43 UTC

You can be dysmorphic though, psychologically, with people like body builders and those with eating disorders. They see their bodies as deformed.

2018-11-13 07:41:59 UTC

Just because it isn't to us, doesn't mean it isn't to them

2018-11-13 07:42:03 UTC

because it's a typo

2018-11-13 07:42:04 UTC

Am I dysmorphic if I find my cock to be too small

2018-11-13 07:42:08 UTC

so they call it something else offline?

2018-11-13 07:42:16 UTC

nah it's always been called that

2018-11-13 07:42:23 UTC

nope

2018-11-13 07:42:28 UTC

not before 1987

2018-11-13 07:42:28 UTC

it's just that at original naming, they slipped up

2018-11-13 07:42:31 UTC

J

2018-11-13 07:42:46 UTC

I mean, some flares ~~do cause~~ are associated with CMEs but they're different phenomena

2018-11-13 07:42:49 UTC

Where’s your citation? @Pirate

2018-11-13 07:43:01 UTC

Is the phenomena explainable

2018-11-13 07:43:03 UTC

definitions of the words "dysmorphic" and "dysphoric"

2018-11-13 07:43:20 UTC

Man, I wish I chose a different field now.

2018-11-13 07:43:25 UTC

which have been in use since the late 19th century and have clear etymology

2018-11-13 07:43:30 UTC

Yeah, nips defined them

2018-11-13 07:43:30 UTC

What field is it?

2018-11-13 07:43:40 UTC

Astrophysics Torch's field

2018-11-13 07:43:45 UTC

long story short, the only link between the two is how one deals with it @The Mad King those who are truly dysphoric due to their dysmorphia, when treated, their dysphoria goes away.

2018-11-13 07:44:00 UTC

the new wave of trans people kill themselves.

2018-11-13 07:44:00 UTC

kind of, we're in the realm of things that arent fully understood which is part of the reason I'm interested

2018-11-13 07:44:00 UTC

I see

2018-11-13 07:44:11 UTC

like the problem is that it means you now need a third word to describe what should be called dysmorphia

2018-11-13 07:44:19 UTC

I'm interested, but even when explained to me Torch I haven't got a scooby.

2018-11-13 07:44:20 UTC

which leads me to believe they're not only not dyphoric, but probably not dysmorphic either.

2018-11-13 07:44:21 UTC

because dysmorphia and dysphoria now mean the same thing

2018-11-13 07:44:28 UTC

because someone is psych fucked up naming BDD

2018-11-13 07:44:31 UTC

no

2018-11-13 07:44:34 UTC

jesus christ

2018-11-13 07:44:36 UTC

do you fucking read

2018-11-13 07:44:44 UTC

I get what you're saying

2018-11-13 07:44:49 UTC

I thought they were separate things.

2018-11-13 07:45:07 UTC

Like I've always been explained that they're separate..

2018-11-13 07:45:12 UTC

@Nip Crippler if needed, can I talk to you about Uni related stuff at some other time?

2018-11-13 07:45:18 UTC

but they dont mean the same thing wtf

2018-11-13 07:45:23 UTC

Absolutely

2018-11-13 07:45:25 UTC

the fuck are you even talking about
