either two things are going to happen in the near future, or possibly a mixture of both, either gene therapy reduces aging and it becomes possible to grow human body parts or we gain the ability to replace our organic body parts with artificial/mechanical which my bet is on a mixture of both

you could take out transhumanism as a whole and the game would still make sense
