Thats a rank beg
How do people who make these huge minecraft buldings keep their designs straight while making them?
command block generators
Also some voxel patterns are predictable enough
its not voxel patterns btw, usually its perlin noise coupled with stuff like octave noise or brownian motion, then little things to carve holes or build shit n what not
Oh
its a program xD
its very simple
a 3rd party program called spritecraft i think to convert an image to a .schematic file, then a mod that allows you to see the schematic in game
the mod is used by most professional build teams
Nice
always wanted to muck around with doing that stuff in mc, never got around to it, tho one of my pals managed a frame or two of animation with kinetic input before mc exploded
I mean, it’s pretty interesting, mods have came around to make even cooler stuff
+ if you make good enough stuff there’s decent money in it for you
We paid out $1600 to build teams in 3 months
define "decent money"
There yar
i did it once with a command block but the image was like five billion chunks or some shit
aite how long did it take them to build watever?
1600 for around 8 hours of work
~$530
Ye
And we’re 1 server
thats reasonable
Yeah, competitive market though
Everyone’s a “builder”
is this for mc?
oh right its not programming?
Either do youtube or be a good developer
What even is this convo
Developers are paid insane amounts if they’re reliable
Oh okay
So you do use 3rd party programs
We paid $5k for a weeks work for 1 guy
If you can do Java Ruger get on that
What sort of sprites do you make for people?
em i can do almost machine level c++, java is pish easy
What is up my niggys
If you’ve got a wealth of free time, it’d be good to learn about making plugins in Minecraft
