As rude as it is to say, if you don't understand your point and you can't articulate your argument well chances are you don't understand it. People who understand what they're talking about should/would be prepared before a live debate. It should also be a common thing that, if you're making a hot point in a debate and you have evidence to back up what you're saying, you gotttttttaaaaa have multiple physical examples; printed off articles, studies, etc

Like if you're going on a live debate you need to be prep'd
