There's big farm style houses that are prolly 10 min drive from me in the countryside, my fam was thinking about buying one at some point but decided edge of the city is better than an extra 10 min drive to get einto the city

My pap at one point when I was younger was really thinking about buying one, bc for w/e reason he's always wanted to own a house like that with some good amount of land. I think he used to do hobby farming when he was in his 20's /early 30s so I can imagine why
