I mean really games like the sims were the first to capitalise on the whole "pay for extra content in the same game" kinda thing, as far as I'm aware. MMOs might have gotten there sooner but I don't know too much about them.

2018-12-07 11:01:30 UTC

all these people saying you're wrong

2018-12-07 11:01:32 UTC

2018-12-07 11:01:55 UTC

2018-12-07 11:02:01 UTC

before card packs MTX made most of its money from whales, players who spent massive amounts on everything compared to the average

2018-12-07 11:02:04 UTC

csgo is alrigth

2018-12-07 11:02:08 UTC

2018-12-07 11:02:12 UTC

2018-12-07 11:02:43 UTC

Never played comp

2018-12-07 11:02:50 UTC

2018-12-07 11:02:53 UTC

it's something like $5000 to buy all the items in the Sims 3 store

2018-12-07 11:02:53 UTC

^

2018-12-07 11:02:55 UTC

@StØic btw yeah you're still the dribbler because you're not listening to anything except the broadest strokes of what people are saying. there's this thing called *nuance* 😉

2018-12-07 11:02:57 UTC

But then again, I also don’t game on pc much

2018-12-07 11:03:05 UTC

2018-12-07 11:03:12 UTC

2018-12-07 11:03:14 UTC

a big number in any case

2018-12-07 11:03:15 UTC
