I still think that being judged on faith alone Is the sign of a manevolent god
Honestly, I prefer to just skip New Age for more on what they were based on (mainly the Dharmic faiths and certain kinds of esoteric, as well as philosophers like Spinoza)
And also to Krishnamurti as well, who was the so-called "World Teacher" of Theosophy; at least until he rejected them in the late-20's.
Which is one thing I never really got, because in it's original incarnation in Buddhism; the "World Teacher" or Maitreya; isn't set to supposedly descend until Gautama's dharma is heard no more. Or, in other words, until Buddhism doesn't really exist anymore. Yet they were already grooming one in the middle of a spike in Buddhist converts, during the 1910's and 1920's.
But until further study into that, I'll just leave it be.
Is funny seeing this when you are atheist
Perhaps
Although I'm more on the side of apathy for seeing this.
