No cells self destruct

2020-03-12 09:55:58 UTC

ok

2020-03-12 09:56:09 UTC

Immune system helps but if you get it. It won't do that much

2020-03-12 09:56:13 UTC

right

I have dozens on mumps vaccination and ovarian cancer

2020-03-12 09:57:56 UTC

I feel lazy atm

2020-03-12 09:58:01 UTC

But if you insist

2020-03-12 09:58:15 UTC

> how cancer hides from immune cells and how some immune cells actually help cancer grow.

2020-03-12 09:59:30 UTC

in which field is your degree if I may ask?

2020-03-12 10:01:13 UTC

We are both right

2020-03-12 10:01:42 UTC

in which field is your degree?

2020-03-12 10:01:51 UTC

@Flat Earth PhD not in biology

2020-03-12 10:01:58 UTC

shocking

2020-03-12 10:02:04 UTC

But yours isn't either

2020-03-12 10:02:22 UTC

B.S. Biochemistry, Ph.D in chemistry, minor in biology, minor in physics

2020-03-12 10:03:15 UTC

The earth is round

2020-03-12 10:03:17 UTC

not flat

2020-03-12 10:03:19 UTC

Well you arent really right because when i said that getting the disease helps protect vs cancer you straight up denied that. I showed proof and can show a lot more. Then you said immune system plays no role vs cancer but link me an article which mentioned how there are immunotherapy treatments for cancer

2020-03-12 10:03:45 UTC

So you contradicted yourself with ur aticle

2020-03-12 10:04:39 UTC

Ik but you weren't 💯 right either

2020-03-12 10:05:05 UTC

It sometimes does help and other times it doesnt or even works against you

2020-03-12 10:05:53 UTC

Thats debatable. My main argument was getting the disease helps prevent cancer

2020-03-12 10:06:08 UTC

And it shouldnt be directly correlated with the immune system

2020-03-12 10:06:09 UTC

Like

2020-03-12 10:06:25 UTC

If you read the first study on mumps that i linked you will see a different mechanism

2020-03-12 10:06:40 UTC

This one

2020-03-12 10:07:04 UTC

Mumps parotitis may lead to expression and immune recognition of a tumor-associated form of MUC1 and create effective immune surveillance of ovarian cancer cells that express this form of MUC1.

2020-03-12 10:07:11 UTC

So immune system can prevent certain cancers

2020-03-12 10:07:18 UTC

Its not with boosting the immune system as a whole

2020-03-12 10:07:45 UTC

Yes it can

2020-03-12 10:08:06 UTC

And evidence shows a significant decrease in rates
