The moon always faces us with the same side, and can only be seen by half of the earth at a time. This is only possible if it were a spherical moon orbiting a spherical earth at a distance
No, the moon is in a tidal lock orbit with the earth
Exactly
You can not recreate this effect on flat earth
I guess
No object can be so far away that everyone sees the same side, yet so close that not everyone can see it. Those are mutually exclusive
so is your contention that if a single person cannot recreate and effect it is untrue?
Have you seen octans? It's a constellation in the south which can be seen from multiple locations. This is impossible on a flat earth
My contention is that if the moon behaves exactly like a spherical object orbiting a spherical earth, then it probably is.
thats very different
Where are the octans on a flat earth really?
ok, can you reproduce a ball spinning roound another ball in a vacuum?
off the ground
Sure
Can I get a role to send pics plz
If we were in a weightless environment
No we cant dum dum
there is no such thing as a weigtless environmnet
Gravity is too small, it's negligible
There is
where
Space
evidence of such a aplace
@chad46 Free fall...
dont dm me
I want to send a pic
π
things only fall if they weigh something
How do octans work on a aflat earth? They don't!
dont ask and answer your own question
Look, if the moon behaves EXACTLY like it were a spherical object orbiting a spherical earth, then chances are the moon IS a spherical object orbiting a spherical earth.
My own question? What?
9:58] Mighty Dave: How do octans work on a aflat earth? They don't!
That is my point, I donβt know what you are going on about tho
@chad46 Oh you mean that.. Well do you have an answer?
show me spheres circling each other in weightlessness
Me?
Not until you show me an object that looks exactly the same from all sides
