2019-12-20 22:08:31 UTC

Lol because I've been in a plane.

2019-12-20 22:08:37 UTC

same

2019-12-20 22:08:44 UTC

It could be edited I suppose, but it seems likely.

2019-12-20 22:08:46 UTC

and i aint see no damn curve on da windows

2019-12-20 22:09:02 UTC

but plz explain how its an optical illusion

2019-12-20 22:09:02 UTC

They are officially curved its an official thing.

2019-12-20 22:09:15 UTC

@🎃Oakheart🎃 Wait what? I've been on a plane several times and I've never seen a curve....

2019-12-20 22:09:19 UTC

same

2019-12-20 22:09:49 UTC

@🎃Oakheart🎃 why is it when boats disappear from bottom to up when sailing into the horizon is an optical illusion

2019-12-20 22:09:50 UTC

The clouds always obstructs the horizon

2019-12-20 22:10:29 UTC

It's a result of heat, and also distance. The ship appears to sink because it gets too far away and pollution etc clouds your view. There's also more waves as well. And from your perspective, it appears to sink as a result of many phenomena.

2019-12-20 22:10:39 UTC

ohh so its pollution?

2019-12-20 22:10:45 UTC

Similar to how the sun appears to dip into the ocean.

2019-12-20 22:10:49 UTC

It's just perspective.

2019-12-20 22:10:51 UTC

cause we rotate

2019-12-20 22:10:55 UTC

earth rotates on its axis

2019-12-20 22:11:02 UTC

while we revolve around the sun

2019-12-20 22:11:28 UTC

The sun can't sink under the horizon

2019-12-20 22:11:33 UTC

On a flat earth model

2019-12-20 22:11:54 UTC

You believe all of these things are occurring yet you just can't observe them personally.

2019-12-20 22:11:57 UTC

Yeah... Nope.

2019-12-20 22:12:09 UTC

oakheart

2019-12-20 22:12:19 UTC

when you're in a car going 50 mph, do you feel it?

2019-12-20 22:12:22 UTC

Please explain how the sun dips under the horizon?

2019-12-20 22:12:36 UTC

Look at the pictures I sent, it's your personal perspective.

2019-12-20 22:12:42 UTC

btw

2019-12-20 22:12:49 UTC

dont send those trash flat earth memes

2019-12-20 22:12:51 UTC

Also, explain why the horizon is ALWAYS at eye level.

2019-12-20 22:12:56 UTC

they really turn debates into toxic convos

2019-12-20 22:13:04 UTC

Whether your on the beach or on a mountain.

2019-12-20 22:13:05 UTC

@🎃Oakheart🎃 Please answer my question, why does the sun SINK under the horizon

2019-12-20 22:13:20 UTC

It's perspective, it appears to sink because its moving farther away from you.

2019-12-20 22:13:22 UTC

Similar to the boats.

2019-12-20 22:13:34 UTC

no

2019-12-20 22:13:36 UTC

No, the sun would just become smaller and asmaller

2019-12-20 22:13:40 UTC

its seems to sink because the earth is round

2019-12-20 22:13:55 UTC

I've climbed a mountain thousands of feet tall, and observed the mountains shadow at sunset.
