Thats what telescopes are for dude

2020-01-11 22:01:39 UTC

thats for the observation step

2020-01-11 22:01:58 UTC

here is the scientific method

2020-01-11 22:02:02 UTC

And the experimental step, you can't do a test without being able to see

2020-01-11 22:02:05 UTC

the telescope provides the observation

2020-01-11 22:02:09 UTC

you form a hypothesis

2020-01-11 22:02:13 UTC

then do an experiment

2020-01-11 22:02:17 UTC

You do the obeservations during the experiment dummy

2020-01-11 22:02:28 UTC

Remember highschool?

2020-01-11 22:02:36 UTC

omg

2020-01-11 22:02:44 UTC

the process is above

2020-01-11 22:02:56 UTC

Yes

2020-01-11 22:02:57 UTC

that is the scientific method

2020-01-11 22:03:22 UTC

You need a telescope to do the experiment, you need one to see objects in space unless you have super powers

2020-01-11 22:04:15 UTC

It's not following the scientific method that makes you a scientist, its the doing experiments and recording what you see and being able to critically think about it that does

2020-01-11 22:04:29 UTC

so describe the experiment using a telescope that proves a planet is a solid object

2020-01-11 22:04:47 UTC

Well we're on one right now

2020-01-11 22:04:52 UTC

and it IS The scientific method

2020-01-11 22:04:56 UTC

that makes one a scientist.

2020-01-11 22:05:18 UTC

if you do an experiment without a hypothesis you are not following the scientific method

2020-01-11 22:05:35 UTC

so please explain the experiment

2020-01-11 22:05:43 UTC

2020-01-11 22:05:58 UTC

a hypothesis is needed for the scientific method, but the hypothesis doesn't need to be correct

2020-01-11 22:06:14 UTC

that's what you are TESTING!!!!!!

2020-01-11 22:06:15 UTC

omg

2020-01-11 22:06:15 UTC

Take a telescope that has about 1000x magnification and look at a blinking light, it should show you s satalite

2020-01-11 22:06:27 UTC

university graduate?

2020-01-11 22:06:31 UTC

or not yet?

2020-01-11 22:06:46 UTC

Not yet but I'm still able to debate with you

2020-01-11 22:06:47 UTC

please go read the process again

2020-01-11 22:06:58 UTC

you don't need your masters degree to understand the earth is a globe

2020-01-11 22:07:03 UTC

@Flat Earth PhD whats your phd for

2020-01-11 22:07:14 UTC

You use the experiment to determine whether you keep or reject the hypothesis

2020-01-11 22:07:38 UTC

Omfg I gave you an experiment and hypothesis wtf more do you want

2020-01-11 22:07:43 UTC

that is true, then you remodel your hypothesis to account for the error, then test it

2020-01-11 22:07:57 UTC

describe the experiment to prove a planet is a solid object

2020-01-11 22:08:02 UTC

using only a telescope

2020-01-11 22:08:22 UTC

We're not talking about that right now, I'm not good enough at physics to explain that to you
