I can't think of any experiment I can do to prove they are solid objects. that's my point

Make a spaceship and go there yourself would be one way

same for satellites

so all I can say as a scientist is that I observe a light in the sky

Um well heres the thing with satalites

They're built on the ground

So you know they're solid

Because they're made out of metal and powered by solar pannels

but if I see a light in the sky I can't prove it's the same object that was built on the ground

using the scientific method

Thats what telescopes are for dude

then do an experiment

You need a telescope to do the experiment, you need one to see objects in space unless you have super powers

It's not following the scientific method that makes you a scientist, its the doing experiments and recording what you see and being able to critically think about it that does

so describe the experiment using a telescope that proves a planet is a solid object
