???

2020-01-13 02:13:35 UTC

This is what academics agree with

2020-01-13 02:14:07 UTC

Philosopher is of the Greek for lover of wisdom/knowledge

2020-01-13 02:14:10 UTC

Philosophy (from Greek φιλοσοφία, philosophia, literally "love of wisdom")[1][2][3][4] is the study of general and fundamental questions

2020-01-13 02:14:22 UTC

first sentence bud

2020-01-13 02:14:28 UTC

I just said it bud

2020-01-13 02:14:41 UTC

not any body of knowledge

2020-01-13 02:14:47 UTC

???

2020-01-13 02:14:48 UTC

in the context you were referring to that in your claim about science being philosophical, yeah ok, fine, but in the common sens of the word it refers to the actual matter of philosophy, i.e. the study of ideas about knowledge, not the knowledge itself

2020-01-13 02:14:57 UTC

its the the study of questions about those bodies

2020-01-13 02:15:04 UTC

What is a general question inky

2020-01-13 02:15:05 UTC

nevermind

2020-01-13 02:15:06 UTC

lmfao

2020-01-13 02:15:11 UTC

what do you think that means

2020-01-13 02:15:20 UTC

for you all quest for knowledge is philosophy

2020-01-13 02:15:36 UTC

done trying to show you that youre wrong lmao

2020-01-13 02:15:41 UTC

like if i wanna study law school, thats philosophy

2020-01-13 02:15:43 UTC

cmmon

2020-01-13 02:15:44 UTC

Did you read the 2nd paragraph

2020-01-13 02:15:54 UTC

kind of!

2020-01-13 02:15:58 UTC
2020-01-13 02:16:02 UTC

i know the definitions dude, i studied the matter in law school ffs

2020-01-13 02:16:24 UTC

nevermind, its just phrasing what ure doing and all this is pointless

2020-01-13 02:16:29 UTC

I know this is sorta off topic, but logic can be described as common sense

2020-01-13 02:17:04 UTC

the actual reasoning inductive, deductive etc.... thats logic, another specialized field so ok

2020-01-13 02:17:40 UTC

Are you using the reasoning to aquire true/false claims?

2020-01-13 02:17:53 UTC

I.E. Acquire knowledge?

2020-01-13 02:18:07 UTC

What are you on about?

2020-01-13 02:18:36 UTC

@The Unknown Scout people think philosophy is more specific when it is generally just the process of gaining knowledge

2020-01-13 02:19:00 UTC

you are using a broad definition and thats fine, you do you. youre definition means all, absolutely all, quest for knowledge is philosophy. guess the FE movment is also philosophical, they never knew it

2020-01-13 02:19:24 UTC

cause it is more specific as a subject matter dude FFS

2020-01-13 02:19:33 UTC

ok, im off, its silly, im tired

2020-01-13 02:20:26 UTC

lol trying making any discipline that isnt philosophical

2020-01-13 02:20:55 UTC

you guys know what PhD means right?

2020-01-13 02:21:01 UTC

2020-01-13 02:21:35 UTC

2020-01-13 02:21:40 UTC

2020-01-13 02:21:57 UTC

2020-01-13 02:22:16 UTC

phd literally means doctor of philosophy
