I think part of the problem is that they are comparing absolutely comical scales within their heads, instead of looking at how reality would end up working.

It's definitely interesting that certain methods can produce gold from seemingly out of nowhere, though. But obviously it does come from somewhere.
Like the article about some microorganisms that can produce gold fragments from consuming particles.
But it's not out of nowhere. they are starting with gold!! it's just being recrystallized into a different crystal structure.

Yeah man. Everything can be explained. . . But for those who don't know any better, it seems magical. It's really just shuffling matter around to achieve a result. It all still requires something to build off of.
