Even during the day. From sunrise to zenith to sunset. It changes slightly

2019-12-04 13:56:15 UTC

Well, if the sun was truly over mexico, I wouldn't be able to see it. Also, as many people have admitted, atmosphere conditions can effect a lot

2019-12-04 13:57:37 UTC

Sure

2019-12-04 13:58:36 UTC

"Sure"? Try seeing the rocky mountains from an elevated point in Kentucky (elevated to see above the buildings) you cant

2019-12-04 13:59:41 UTC

So why can you see the sun in Mexico from kentucky not only that but without it seeming to be smaller then normal? That sort of distance would make the sun seem much smaller

2019-12-04 14:54:28 UTC

My advice....look down, not up

2019-12-04 14:54:48 UTC

the sun is complicated

2019-12-04 14:55:48 UTC

look more towards curvature measurements, laser tests, long distance photography, horizon at high altitudes etc..

2019-12-04 14:57:32 UTC

I'm still looking for a scientific publication in a peer-reviewed journal showing the direct measurement of Earth's curvature. would be so great to read the Materials & Methods section for how they did it. then perhaps we can replicate and see what results we get

2019-12-04 15:26:00 UTC

facts dont require science!

2019-12-04 15:27:51 UTC

i dont know the quote

2019-12-04 15:28:41 UTC

Awe

2019-12-04 15:36:03 UTC

Maybe the sun is complicated for people trying to make it that way so that they can ignore it

2019-12-04 15:38:04 UTC

it's for the people actually doing experiments to understand their world...vs the sheeple who just believe everything they are told

2019-12-04 15:38:08 UTC

as I always say...

2019-12-04 15:38:19 UTC

flat earthers are the scientists. heliocentrists the religous ones.

2019-12-04 15:38:23 UTC

the irony

2019-12-04 15:43:30 UTC

Yeah that’s totally it

2019-12-04 15:43:41 UTC

Because you’ve shared a lot of science here

2019-12-04 15:44:38 UTC

You saying a peer reviewed journal needs a materials and methods section show how much of a legitimate scientist you are

2019-12-04 15:48:42 UTC

How many publications do you have in a peer reviewed journal?

This is the standard convention for scientific publications

2019-12-04 15:54:30 UTC

Here are some example guidelines..

2019-12-04 16:08:48 UTC

Soooo, the sun doesn't work like every single other obect in existence because "it's just complicated"

2019-12-04 16:09:16 UTC

Plenty of people have looked down for answers, it's time to start looking up

2019-12-04 16:09:47 UTC

And also, you use a completely wrong definition of religion to call us religious

2019-12-04 16:10:39 UTC

re·li·gion
/rəˈlijən/
Learn to pronounce
noun
the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.

An people please stop trying to invalidate claims by just calling them "religious"

2019-12-04 16:12:15 UTC

Unlike the globe earth, the flat earth would require a god.
Also, if there is a god, they suck at creating things.

2019-12-04 16:14:17 UTC

Let's do a cool little experiment, take the mesurements for how big the countries are and how big the oceans are, then using this data try to make a non-distorted map

2019-12-04 16:14:40 UTC

Should be easy.

2019-12-04 16:16:03 UTC

You don't need pictures from up above to make a good map

2019-12-04 16:26:51 UTC

LOL. you're right. it would be so easy to map Earth 🙂
