But for this, I'm just doing basic pictures so that we can then compare size
tbh it's probably going to be difficult. even globers will say you need a solar filter or it's useless
also...you will need to do this regularly over a year
to make it meaningful....
And I'll try to take 3 (sun rising, above head, sun setting) exact picture each season so we can compare location
you certainly can. But I won't be able to draw many conclusions probably as I don't have a map I would trust
Nothing fancy
But size comparison is the big thing, that u shouldn't need anything special
ah ok
I'll probably scrap the exact locatiom, but just take notes about exactly where is see the sun set when standing at a certain location
Hmmm, trying to figure out how to work something into my life, sadly I might only be able to take sunset pictures until summer but that's all I should need from winter
Because even just that will show how the sun doesn't change size, thus, breaks how perspective works
The sun does change size
If it was actually 93 million miles away it wouldn't
Even during the day. From sunrise to zenith to sunset. It changes slightly
Well, if the sun was truly over mexico, I wouldn't be able to see it. Also, as many people have admitted, atmosphere conditions can effect a lot
Sure
"Sure"? Try seeing the rocky mountains from an elevated point in Kentucky (elevated to see above the buildings) you cant
So why can you see the sun in Mexico from kentucky not only that but without it seeming to be smaller then normal? That sort of distance would make the sun seem much smaller
My advice....look down, not up
look more towards curvature measurements, laser tests, long distance photography, horizon at high altitudes etc..
I'm still looking for a scientific publication in a peer-reviewed journal showing the direct measurement of Earth's curvature. would be so great to read the Materials & Methods section for how they did it. then perhaps we can replicate and see what results we get
facts dont require science!
i dont know the quote
Awe
Maybe the sun is complicated for people trying to make it that way so that they can ignore it
it's for the people actually doing experiments to understand their world...vs the sheeple who just believe everything they are told
as I always say...
flat earthers are the scientists. heliocentrists the religous ones.
the irony
Yeah that’s totally it
Because you’ve shared a lot of science here
You saying a peer reviewed journal needs a materials and methods section show how much of a legitimate scientist you are
How many publications do you have in a peer reviewed journal?
