oof
i got for the first method
q^(n-1)/(1 - q^n)
and for second method
thats just total flips not for jimmy
oh you mean flips til game ends
yeah
ok
so a heuristic (not exact) probability would be 1 / pn
the probability of reaching the nth flip is q^(n - 1) i think
so its the sum from i = 1 to i = infinity of q^(i * n) * p
if n = 2 and p = 0.5
thats 0.5 ^ 2 * 0.5 + 0.5 ^ 4 * 0.5 + 0.5 ^ 6 * 0.5... etc
which i think is right
ello my fellow flattists
oh
wrong place
i think most of the flat earthers are offline rn
'good day
earlier, i asked how flat earth accounts for 24 hour sunlight in the antarctic during the summer solstice and citizen ice responded with this gif https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/484516084846952451/652017778206965760/FEEarthBestProof.gif
the problem is that gif contradicts the earlier explanations ive been given for how season work in flat earth?
that clip fails to explain for the antartic
thank you
unless i am misinterpreting it
the sun supposedly rotates in a circle above the earth, with its diameter changing over the course of the year
however, it stays at the same height the whole time
but looking at that gif, under a dome earth, that is impossible
wtf
anyone besides citizen want to help me? not citizen hes annoying af
you'd have to ask a flat earther how it is supposed to work cause idk
the sunlight conseption wouldnt make sense if the earth were flat in the first place
how does that fail to explain the antarctic?
well the antartic... isnt... always... in light?
the antartic is the ice ring around the earth
ur talking abt 24 hour darkness during winter solstice?
~~incorrect~~ yes, but no
thats the winter solstice
if ur talking about the 24 hour periods of darkness, that is supposedly explained because during the winter months the sun is rotating in a small circle around the north pole
the circles diameter is small enough that no light reaches the antarctic, apparently
