You are correct about light, Triscuit - in a vacuum, light waves do not dissipate.

I didn’t come here for proof. Just ideas

2019-12-12 22:57:03 UTC

The only real answer that would cooperate with flat earth is if the moon were a sort of illusion that appeared to act exactly like a sphere orbiting a spherical planet at a distance of 238,000 miles

2019-12-12 22:57:16 UTC

Lol

2019-12-12 22:57:43 UTC

It is the same thing for the sun and stars btw

2019-12-12 22:57:48 UTC

Some people here do think the moon isn't solid.

2019-12-12 22:57:52 UTC

And planets

2019-12-12 23:00:05 UTC

All I’ve seen is a bunch of sci-fi movies.

2019-12-12 23:00:16 UTC

Planets look cool in Star Wars

2019-12-12 23:00:25 UTC

Never been to one

2019-12-12 23:00:31 UTC

Never will

2019-12-12 23:01:06 UTC

You are on a planet

2019-12-12 23:02:07 UTC

Am I?

2019-12-12 23:02:19 UTC

How can you be sure

2019-12-12 23:02:26 UTC

Oh yeah movies

2019-12-12 23:02:51 UTC

there is something called earth

2019-12-12 23:03:02 UTC

the planet we live on

2019-12-12 23:04:05 UTC

I will agree it is some sort of earth, most likely not a blue marble

2019-12-12 23:06:40 UTC

I’ve never seeeeen cuuurrrvvviiittttuuuurrreeee!!!!!! You?

2019-12-12 23:16:00 UTC

You can see planets darkos

2019-12-12 23:16:04 UTC

Telescope

2019-12-12 23:16:14 UTC

I’ve seen Jupiter

2019-12-12 23:16:18 UTC

It’s quite lovely

2019-12-12 23:16:50 UTC

You can even see the stripes

2019-12-12 23:16:54 UTC

On a good day

2019-12-12 23:18:53 UTC

That’s lovely. Have you ever seen curvature ?

2019-12-12 23:19:04 UTC

You mean in Jupiter

2019-12-12 23:19:06 UTC

?

2019-12-12 23:19:14 UTC

It is a circle shape

2019-12-12 23:19:32 UTC

And the stripes visible wrap around it implying a spherical shape

2019-12-12 23:23:01 UTC

If i painted a frisbee like a soccer ball and sunk it to the bottom of a swimming pool, would you know its a frisbee? @Triscuit

2019-12-12 23:23:19 UTC

Fair point

2019-12-12 23:23:36 UTC

Just a question i ask myself

2019-12-12 23:23:52 UTC

Citizen, what are your thoughts on the nature of the moon?

2019-12-12 23:24:16 UTC

I’ve seen different people say different things

2019-12-12 23:24:17 UTC

Seems to be a large sphere but we only see mostly one side

2019-12-12 23:24:22 UTC

Yea

2019-12-12 23:24:37 UTC

But a large sphere wouldn’t match up with flat earth

2019-12-12 23:24:44 UTC

Why not?

2019-12-12 23:24:45 UTC

For the exact reason

2019-12-12 23:24:47 UTC

Well
