yes

2019-12-12 23:47:50 UTC

your fist

2019-12-12 23:48:23 UTC

thank you triscuit

@Amthyric exept the moon isn't on a string and is moving independent and going around supposedly so no you wouldn't see it the same side every night you would see the back the front the side and every which way as it made it's orbit. Your brain says tidal lock cause it is a phenomena that doesn't exist in nature but breaks all the rules to tilde look your brain into thinking that it doesn't follow the rules.

2019-12-12 23:49:20 UTC

that isn't what you asked

2019-12-12 23:49:28 UTC

you asked for an example of tidal locking

2019-12-12 23:49:32 UTC

It’s moving exactly like it would if it was on a string

2019-12-12 23:49:34 UTC

now, it is not a string

2019-12-12 23:49:41 UTC

That’s what I meant by “in-sync”

2019-12-12 23:49:41 UTC

but it is still a force

2019-12-12 23:50:00 UTC

The same side always faces the earth no matter how fast or slow the earth spins

2019-12-12 23:50:08 UTC

exactly

2019-12-12 23:50:33 UTC

like if you walk while spinning it around your fist

2019-12-12 23:50:44 UTC

it always faces your fist

2019-12-12 23:50:46 UTC

always

2019-12-12 23:51:14 UTC

now, if you change the set up slightly

2019-12-12 23:51:22 UTC

you can have the ball not be tidally locked

2019-12-12 23:51:43 UTC

but that would require changing what forces are acting where on the ball

2019-12-12 23:51:48 UTC

NII

2019-12-12 23:51:56 UTC

Newton's Second Law

2019-12-12 23:51:59 UTC

What the f is yawl's point because by now we should have seen the dark side of the moon on vid etc. So your points are mode since looking at the moon does not solve any of the issues of proving you are spinning or that you are on a water ball.

2019-12-12 23:52:23 UTC

why would we see the dark side?

2019-12-12 23:52:30 UTC

^

2019-12-12 23:52:31 UTC

Camera

2019-12-12 23:52:37 UTC

Space ship

2019-12-12 23:52:39 UTC

No you wanna bring theory bs so I am going to go cook dinner and wait for you to post something relevant as it relates to experiments that prove we are spinning on a water ball.

2019-12-12 23:52:42 UTC

and tbf we have seen parts of it because of the moon's wobble

2019-12-12 23:52:44 UTC

like

2019-12-12 23:52:55 UTC

59% of the total surface

2019-12-12 23:53:07 UTC

lol

2019-12-12 23:53:10 UTC

that is funny

2019-12-12 23:53:12 UTC

I’m saying that on a flat earth it would be flat-out impossible to see the same side from all angles

2019-12-12 23:53:30 UTC

a flat moon would distort

2019-12-12 23:53:47 UTC

it would loose it's disc shape as it approaches the horizon

2019-12-12 23:54:00 UTC

and a round moon would get weird next to a flat earth

2019-12-12 23:54:16 UTC

Now, gravity is not a self-contained idea

2019-12-12 23:54:27 UTC

it is a consequence of Newton's Third Law

2019-12-12 23:54:42 UTC

or at least can be simplified to be a part of it

2019-12-12 23:54:58 UTC

@Sassy Undeniably Are you familiar with Newton's Laws

2019-12-12 23:54:59 UTC

Impossiball is all I see because you have not said how it wouldn't be because we say it is with in our atmosphere and that it is just a light in the sky. Only you all are standing up there and saying it's a bird it's a plain its a giant water ball because we can see a wobble moon that is see through going around above us every night

2019-12-12 23:55:00 UTC
