I just jump right into flat earth. Start asking questions. I already know their answers and I make it seem like it's crazy to think that way. "You think the earth moves? What that sounds weird I feel perfectly still." I try to make them question their own reality while not questioning it directly.

2019-12-15 14:58:16 UTC

It's a new way of doing it but I'm opening to more suggestions

2019-12-15 14:58:48 UTC

Sure why not

2019-12-15 15:03:31 UTC

9/11 is more of a touchy subject since it involves people dying and whenever something involves people dying ie school shootings or mass murders people have a soft spot in their heart. Moon landing I expect your average joe to have more skepticism

2019-12-15 15:08:33 UTC

yes thats an old tactic, appeal to emotions @Lampz

2019-12-15 15:09:21 UTC

how dare you question the story? people died

2019-12-15 15:10:01 UTC

Yeah especially in the work place can get you fired asap

2019-12-15 15:12:36 UTC

I talked with my boss about flat earth while we were on break at my first job. Was telling her a bunch of things about the stars being close and what not. Long story short I didn't have a job anymore haha

2019-12-15 15:13:22 UTC

Was it for that reason idk but they called me and said I shouldn't come in I was like <:snapsnap:484956825863585792>

2019-12-15 15:24:21 UTC

you could try asking them why

2019-12-15 15:44:58 UTC

hedo

2019-12-15 16:29:33 UTC

what?! you got fired from your job for bringing up fe? @Lampz

2019-12-15 16:30:57 UTC

same here basically though not directly

2019-12-15 16:31:58 UTC

and wasn't discussing it during work hours. was after a workshop I was leading....casual chat at the bar

2019-12-15 16:33:07 UTC

NASA fanboy/staunch atheist there contacted our department head. was told "we don't discuss such topics around other employees"

2019-12-15 16:33:32 UTC

and "it might be better for you to find some other place to work"

2019-12-15 16:33:43 UTC

so I resigned 2 weeks later 🙂

2019-12-15 16:34:07 UTC

Current job?

2019-12-15 16:34:09 UTC

that's a real assholic thing to do

2019-12-15 16:34:46 UTC

yup. it's OK. it's a miserable place to work anyway.

2019-12-15 16:34:55 UTC

and I needed the time off

2019-12-15 16:34:59 UTC

Ah

2019-12-15 16:34:59 UTC

lol i resigned too but for different reasons

2019-12-15 16:35:10 UTC

*i don’t have a job*

2019-12-15 16:35:43 UTC

i talked quite a bit about FE , along with other 'truths' , i spread them all over my workplace but luckily was never reprimanded for any of it

2019-12-15 16:35:50 UTC

That’s good

2019-12-15 16:36:12 UTC

it's important. I think we are called to do this

2019-12-15 16:36:15 UTC

are you looking for one Frosty?

2019-12-15 16:36:39 UTC

yep, mini-activism is important

2019-12-15 16:36:39 UTC

Uhm kinda

2019-12-15 16:36:53 UTC

lol. yeah me too

2019-12-15 16:36:58 UTC

I’m trying to find one that has as little human interaction as possible <:fingerguns:593090200654184463>

2019-12-15 16:37:08 UTC

you haven't worked since resigning?

2019-12-15 16:37:33 UTC

but you seem highly sociable ?!

2019-12-15 16:37:47 UTC

more so than some others on here lol

2019-12-15 16:38:50 UTC

I haven't no. not at a formal company. I'm working on some startup concepts I've had, working on a book and wrapping up some patent applications from a previous startup

2019-12-15 16:39:05 UTC

and seeking truth

2019-12-15 16:39:16 UTC

it's more important than money to me

2019-12-15 16:39:32 UTC

Yes but that’s cause u guys are fun n smart. I lose brain cells every time someone asks me a stupid question, so I figure if I work at a job where I have to interact with random people, I’ll lose a lot of brain cells.

2019-12-15 16:39:38 UTC

well at least you're doing something constructive .. i've been relaxing since i left ,, learning to live on almost zero
