completely forgot to write the date on a Post-It when I saw the schedule. thanks for posting!
@IXI I'm starting to think the most effective method is face to face.
those truthseekers that are already redpilled but just haven't been exposed to the topic will make the time to investigate
discord can be effective as long as you quickly weed through the trolls
and/or just prevent them from engaging in the first place but that requires time/effort up front to screen them (e.g. interviews)
I normally start with 9/11 or moon landing when talking to someone. If they are still mainstream on those topics, forget flat earth
where can i send pictures?
you can't.
have to earn that privilege
I just jump right into flat earth. Start asking questions. I already know their answers and I make it seem like it's crazy to think that way. "You think the earth moves? What that sounds weird I feel perfectly still." I try to make them question their own reality while not questioning it directly.
It's a new way of doing it but I'm opening to more suggestions
Sure why not
9/11 is more of a touchy subject since it involves people dying and whenever something involves people dying ie school shootings or mass murders people have a soft spot in their heart. Moon landing I expect your average joe to have more skepticism
how dare you question the story? people died
Yeah especially in the work place can get you fired asap
I talked with my boss about flat earth while we were on break at my first job. Was telling her a bunch of things about the stars being close and what not. Long story short I didn't have a job anymore haha
Was it for that reason idk but they called me and said I shouldn't come in I was like <:snapsnap:484956825863585792>
you could try asking them why
same here basically though not directly
and wasn't discussing it during work hours. was after a workshop I was leading....casual chat at the bar
NASA fanboy/staunch atheist there contacted our department head. was told "we don't discuss such topics around other employees"
and "it might be better for you to find some other place to work"
so I resigned 2 weeks later 🙂
Current job?
that's a real assholic thing to do
yup. it's OK. it's a miserable place to work anyway.
and I needed the time off
Ah
lol i resigned too but for different reasons
*i don’t have a job*
i talked quite a bit about FE , along with other 'truths' , i spread them all over my workplace but luckily was never reprimanded for any of it
That’s good
it's important. I think we are called to do this
are you looking for one Frosty?
yep, mini-activism is important
Uhm kinda
