No it really depends what you watch

If you're watching like videos with 5000 or 10000 views it probably has very little data on what that video actually is or what genre it belongs to

whereas videos with a million views very clearly have statistically significant types of audiances

like gaming videos maybe: males 14-24, watch other gaming videos, ect

such as Joe Scott audiences

i watch mainstream entertainment simply to peek into the elite playbook and reaffirm my understanding of what is coming

it seems reasonable to think that YouTube algorithm is just worse at figuring out your interests if you watch a lot of low view count videos because there's less data

it's pretty obvious what is coming next

like I'm subbed to like 300 channels or something and watch a few vids a day so I get very good suggestions, at least good in YouTube's mind

if conspiracy videos make advertisers get a bad taste in their mouth and makes them less likely to go to YouTube it makes sense

I doubt Kellogg's would be as likely to put ads on videos if there are videos about Kellogg's buying up and hoarding water globally

why couldn't they make money off advertising on conspiracy videos ? there is a giant 'conspiratorial' audience out there and it's growing like crazy, you'd think that'd make more business sense
