I think it's more likely that the pyramids are so old they were able to go through a rare "wet season"

2019-12-18 17:19:34 UTC

They are definitely older than what they're telling us.

2019-12-18 17:19:40 UTC

Because while I think "underwater" is a bit dramatic, it is possible that the climate could have changed a bit

2019-12-18 17:19:41 UTC

Then I wonder

2019-12-18 17:19:43 UTC

what killed them off

2019-12-18 17:19:46 UTC

Yeah

2019-12-18 17:19:51 UTC

Perhaps not underwater.

2019-12-18 17:19:59 UTC

But that takes thousands and thousands of years

2019-12-18 17:20:02 UTC

Not solely 2000 years

2019-12-18 17:20:39 UTC

Hey, I'm speaking hypotheticals, but it would partly explain why people would settle in such a barren place,if it once used to be more hospitable

2019-12-18 17:20:46 UTC

I was just thinking that

2019-12-18 17:20:47 UTC

Exactly!

2019-12-18 17:20:55 UTC

We know Africa had to have been greener once

2019-12-18 17:21:09 UTC

So not underwater, but something like perhaps a great Plains that had wet seasons

2019-12-18 17:21:25 UTC

That's why I believe they have seen many milleniums.

2019-12-18 17:21:38 UTC

The egyptians could have just found them for all we know.

2019-12-18 17:21:50 UTC

It's a cool theory

2019-12-18 17:21:50 UTC

Or been descendants of the people who built them

2019-12-18 17:21:52 UTC

Yeah agreed

2019-12-18 17:22:19 UTC

Also the sphinx could've been built when the constellation of Leo was in the sky

2019-12-18 17:22:22 UTC

Much older again

2019-12-18 17:22:48 UTC

Honestly I don't think anyone is 100% correct about how the world works, heck, I think the smartest people are only about 25% at most. There are so many questions

2019-12-18 17:22:54 UTC

During the age of leo

2019-12-18 17:22:56 UTC

Yeah exactly

2019-12-18 17:23:11 UTC

So many questions and we live in an era with immense knowledge, but immense deceit as well

2019-12-18 17:23:18 UTC

The brighter the light the greater the shadow

2019-12-18 17:23:25 UTC

That's part of what makes the universe interesting in my opinion

2019-12-18 17:23:43 UTC

We are blessed with the ability to search anything (almost anything) we want and know the answer instantly.

2019-12-18 17:23:48 UTC

Yet its filled with deceit in some areas.

2019-12-18 17:24:35 UTC

I will be right back. I'm listening tho lol.

2019-12-18 17:24:37 UTC

Somewhere, our dreams may be reality, and we would never know.

I value reason above all else, I know my eyes and senses can be fooled, but our brains are amazing things, and while they can be tricked, they can learn to avoid trickery as well

2019-12-18 17:24:47 UTC

Exactly.

2019-12-18 17:24:57 UTC

I trust myself./

2019-12-18 17:25:13 UTC

💯

2019-12-18 17:26:15 UTC

I'm kinda curious, what are the views you hold on things like religion, the earth's shape, ect. We may want to move to civil debate or something to not spam this chat

2019-12-18 17:27:19 UTC

a lot of flat earthers tend to be religious, following the biblical interpretation of earths shape but not all do

2019-12-18 17:28:59 UTC

Ye, I have read

2019-12-18 17:30:46 UTC

Not particularly religious in any major religion.

2019-12-18 17:30:53 UTC

Maybe ering closer to paganism, not sure.

2019-12-18 17:30:59 UTC

But in it's own sense.
