a lot of flat earthers tend to be religious, following the biblical interpretation of earths shape but not all do

Ye, I have read

2019-12-18 17:30:46 UTC

Not particularly religious in any major religion.

2019-12-18 17:30:53 UTC

Maybe ering closer to paganism, not sure.

2019-12-18 17:30:59 UTC

But in it's own sense.

2019-12-18 17:31:07 UTC

Paganism as in not a part of any other religion.

2019-12-18 17:31:36 UTC

Though I would hold closer to the bible over all of the other abrahamic religions.

2019-12-18 17:31:36 UTC

I guess that makes sense, so a sudo-pagamism.

2019-12-18 17:31:48 UTC

I sent a question in the debate chat bc this one is busy I was wondering if someone could answer me?

2019-12-18 17:31:48 UTC

Maybe a hint of animism as well

2019-12-18 17:31:53 UTC

What is up?

2019-12-18 17:31:54 UTC

Yeah

2019-12-18 17:32:15 UTC

Idk I just don't feel like religion is all that it seems.

2019-12-18 17:32:37 UTC

I would like to connect to the god(s)/entities/deities/source/universe in my own way.

2019-12-18 17:32:41 UTC

Not through a book or something.

2019-12-18 17:32:54 UTC

Honestly, I can respect that. Every single religion has things wrong with it, so it's unlikely that they are true, however, perhaps multiple people who had "revilations" as people like to call it, perceived what they saw in different ways? Thus the multiple religions were born? Idk, just a thought

2019-12-18 17:33:12 UTC

That is what I believe somewhat

2019-12-18 17:33:22 UTC

Spiritual experiences to some, take an OBE for example.

2019-12-18 17:33:40 UTC

If I have an OBE I will assume its just an OBE and im visiting the higher dimensions. To some it could be them speaking to their god.

2019-12-18 17:33:43 UTC

I'm agnostic and I love thinking about gods and the like, they are so interesting as a concept

2019-12-18 17:33:47 UTC

People interperit it in different ways.

2019-12-18 17:34:05 UTC

If a spiritual guide spoke to me, I could see it as god, the universe, anything really.

2019-12-18 17:34:17 UTC

Its all perspective really.

2019-12-18 17:34:42 UTC

I don't really perceive things as right or wrong, obviously some things are terrible, but at the end of the day almost everything is a gray area.

2019-12-18 17:34:44 UTC

Sometimes people interpret my strange imagination and dreams and such as proving their God is trying to contact me lmao. Sometimes it's funny because they see what I find a good thing a bad thing

2019-12-18 17:34:45 UTC

My mother believes that all ancient religions are real and it’s part of the test the way we treat and interact with one another, I think that’s interesting

2019-12-18 17:34:54 UTC

For example

2019-12-18 17:34:58 UTC

I belive right and wrong is a very grey buisness

2019-12-18 17:35:00 UTC

The villains usually dont think they are wrong

2019-12-18 17:35:20 UTC

What if I stole from a store? You might say, wow, stealing is wrong. But what if I am stealing to keep my family fed?

2019-12-18 17:35:27 UTC

It's a gray area.

2019-12-18 17:36:02 UTC

Yea, that's part of my problem with people who hold onto a certain religion too tightly, because they forget how grey eight and wrong truly is

2019-12-18 17:36:08 UTC

Yes

2019-12-18 17:36:12 UTC

Depending on the religion of course

2019-12-18 17:36:26 UTC

I mostly see it happen with christians, tho sometimes with Mormons

2019-12-18 17:36:31 UTC

And I think the religious texts are just written by those with morals and attempting to spread them

2019-12-18 17:36:33 UTC

Nothing wrong with that.

2019-12-18 17:36:40 UTC

But they've been edited hundreds of times.

2019-12-18 17:36:42 UTC

Lost in translation.

2019-12-18 17:36:43 UTC

Etc.
