If we want to do pragmatism, you can use a two-sphere geocentric model to accurately predict the movement of celestial bodies. Does that validate geocentrism?
@Deleted User Sure, but generally we consider overly complex models bad, and prefer simple ones. the endless complexity of epicycles therefore counts against the accuracy of this model
Of course the presumption of adding value to the simpler hypothesis can be questioned, but this is generally a cornerstone of science and inference in general.
